  • Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Spring is on the way, really! Here is the information for our third free “Lunch In The Garden” webinar on Zoom. Be sure to join us for “Kick The Exotic Invasive Gardening Habit With Native Alternatives” on Wednesday, February 24 at Noon. Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County Master Gardeners Cathy Welling and Betsy Kauffman to explore how you can do your part to combat invasive plant species by gardening with native plants. We will discuss the “why” of gardening with natives, then identify a number of invasive plants commonly found in gardens and landscapes and a variety of native alternatives to these garden “thugs.”

This webinar, offered as part of the free “Lunch In The Garden” series, uses the Zoom platform and you must download the free software in advance. The Zoom invitation is below.
