Capital Region Eat Smart New York

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County is a part a regional program called Capital Region Eat Smart New York, which is free to all individuals who qualify for benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Capital Region Eat Smart New York offers SNAP-eligible families ways to eat more fruits and vegetables, drink fewer sweetened beverages and practice healthy lifestyles. Get recipes and tips and learn about their free food demos, workshops, grocery store tours and more HERE!
